Fr. Giles Zakowicz, OFM Conv. has devoted over five decades of his life to Franciscan ministry, formation, and pastoral service. Ordained in 1975, he celebrated his 50th jubilee in 2025, marking a lifetime of dedication to the Church and the Franciscan Order.

A former Novice Director in the Our Lady of the Angels Province, Fr. Giles has played a significant role in guiding new friars in their formation and vocation. He has also served as a witness at solemn professions, including in Liverpool in 2022, and continues to be a steady and supportive presence within the Blessed Agnellus of Pisa Custody. His ministry reflects a deep commitment to nurturing faith, community, and Franciscan life.
