OUR FRANCISCAN PARISH FAMILY
Faith, Learning, and Community at St Clare’s
St Clare’s is home to the Conventual Franciscan Friars — known as the Greyfriars. Their Franciscan spirit of simplicity, prayer, and service shapes the life of our parish. Through their ministry we are welcomed, guided in faith, and encouraged to live the Gospel each day.
Right beside the church is St Clare’s Primary School, where children grow in knowledge and faith. Working closely with the parish, the school provides a Catholic education rooted in Gospel values, preparing young people to live with kindness, respect, and faith in God.
Our parish is open daily for prayer and worship. We celebrate Sunday Mass, weekday liturgies, baptisms, weddings, funerals, and the other sacraments. Together we share in parish events, faith groups, and outreach, building up a community centred on Christ.

What We Believe
St Clare's Church
Priests
Fr. Giles Zakowicz OFM Conv.
Fr. Kevin Hanley, OFM Conv.
Fr. Jeremiah Budau OFM Conv.
Hail, Mary, full of grace
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
I love this church, I go in every day to light candles and to say a prayer for family members that have passed. I would not change this place for anything as from a recent passing, it really has become a comfort.
Absolutely love the new Father, what a nice man, this man is truly a man of god, thank you and the rest of the brothers for the help, to which you all have given to me, may God be with you all. Amen
I recently “came home” after a gap. The new priests are much better, because Gospel interpretation is not shunned. I am already more connected.
This has been my church for the past 46 years and always feel welcome and do a good service.
Lots of lovely people at St. Clare’s Church, come and visit us.
The priests were there when we needed them. Lovely gentlemen. Thank you so much.
